Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital is the first general hospital that reflects the government's infectious disease prevention and control policy from the beginning of its design, and it fundamentally prevents the risk of infections in the emergency medical center, as well as general and outpatient wards. In addition, it was equipped with a patient-oriented medical system in line with Health Care 3.0 and consists of 12 multi-disciplinary special centers and 39 medical departments, including a cardiovascular department, hematology department, neurosurgical center, and digestive center. In the rapidly changing medical environment, it was designed aiming at becoming a medical complex to provide not only medical treatment but also various services for early detection and a happy life. It was designed based on the question “What kind of hospital do patients dream of?”
