LIG Insurance Daegu Branch

LIG Insurance Daegu Branch is the large business facility constructed as the landmark of Daegu by bringing energy to the streets and symbolizing the city in line with the time of changes in the region in 2003. Beomeosa Intersection, where the building is located, is a bustling area where the ten-lane trunk roads intersect, and it gave away a large portion of the building to boldly place access for cars on the front side so that cars can come directly into the building’s parking lot from the trunk roads. To expand the image of Daegu more brightly, it let the citizens of Daegu experience the building with a completely new design through huge masses and glasses on all sides. The twin towers are rated as the building that made the most of its functionality as an office building without interrupting the context of the downtown identity. A sky lounge was placed on the upper stories and its 90-meter long ‘High Rise Nude Elevator’, which shows the entire view of downtown Daegu, has become a local attraction. This building satisfies the eyes of people with the feeling that its visual form gives and is the first private building in Daegu that reflects green building certification in its design drawings by following the standards for ‘environment-friendly building.’
