Sungin-dong mix-use building with excellent access to public transportation due to its proximity to Sinseol-dong Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 and Dongmyo Station on Line 6 is located between buildings that are 20 to 30years old. Since it is a single site larger than 3000
㎡ according to the district unit plan, it could be designed as the tallest building with the largest floor area ratio. We created the external design that takes each lot as a single household unit and elevates the lot on the plane, not to be heterogeneous with the surrounding buildings that were constructed on small lots, and made sure that the design process of creating individual terraces in various household units tells the same full story both externally and internally. In particular, while central corridors are common to increase the exclusive area in apartments, this project minimized the central corridors and allowed light and natural ventilation in the hallways so that the way home is not inconvenient. In addition, we placed windows in the corners and at both ends in creative shapes to secure a wide view.
