He is an architect specializing in healthcare facilities at the Healthcare Design Division. He focuses on the architect’s role in mediating and balancing the conflicts that arise among the city, people, and society throughout the architectural process, with a keen interest in how these relationships influence architecture. His ongoing projects include the General Hospital in Siheung-dong, Geumcheon-gu, and the Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital Proton Therapy Center. His major works include Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital, Konyang University New Hospital, Shinchon Severance Future Complex, Gil Hospital Cancer Center, Bumhan Industrial Magok R&D Center, and the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology Library.
